About This Project
This project comprised improvement works to a public park adjacent to the Roman City Walls in Chester. Works included site clearance, construction of new footpaths and other hard paved areas, construction of a 1.2m high retaining wall and soiling and planting. Works also included the relocation of Roman stone features including some large columns and plinths. Due to the historic nature of the site works were undertaken under the guidance of an archaeologist.
