United Utilities Landscape Framework

We successfully applied for a place on the United Utilities Landscape Framework in 2014. United Utilities is the UK's largest listed water & waste water company, providing services to seven million people across the North West of England. The framework agreement involves landscape projects on Water Treatment Works, Wastewater Treatment Works, Reservoirs, Pipelines, Pumping Stations and on Third Party Land including Gardens, Amenity Spaces, Ecologically Sensitive Sites, Sports Fields, Agricultural Land, Golf Courses and Highways. Works include site clearance, hedgerow pruning and netting, earthworks, topsoiling, seeding and hydroseeding, turfing, planting, hedging, fencing including amphibian fencing, walling, drainage, hardsurfacing and establishment maintenance.

City West Housing Trust

Horticon are delighted to have been nominated as a City West Framework Partner. The four year Environmental Contractor Framework will run from 2013 – 2017.

Efficiency North

In 2011 we were selected to be on the E N Procure Elemental Framework. This procurement framework has been developed to provide works, materials and services which can be accessed by Public Sector bodies and principally Social Landlords. Riverside Housing

In 2011 we were awarded a place on the Riverside Landscape & Civic Construction Framework. Riverside are one of the largest social housing providers in England.

Trafford Council

In 2010 we were appointed to the Trafford Council General Landscaping Framework.

Cheshire East Council

In 2010 we were appointed to the Hard and Soft Landscaping Framework for Cheshire East Council. In 2012 we were delighted to be re-appointed to the four year framework for Landscaping including Play and Sports facilities.

Salford City Council

In 2005 Horticon Ltd was selected by Salford City Council as a landscape works partner.

We implement all types of hard and soft landscaping and associated works throughout the City in accordance with the objectives of the Landscape Framework Charter.

Our appointment has also enabled us to support the aims of the Salford Construction Partnership. We have developed our supply chain arrangement with Salford based companies for the purchase of materials and equipment in addition to training and employing local people whenever possible.

The original Partnership ended in 2013, when we were successfully appointed to the four year Landscaping and Associated Services Framework Agreement with Salford City Council.

Recent Projects:

William Sutton Housing Association

In 2003 Horticon Ltd agreed with the William Sutton Housing Association to provide environmental improvement works to an existing housing estate on a partnering basis.

The works are being undertaken in the format of a six year annual rolling programme. Costs are agreed at the outset of each phase with the results being measured against predetermined Key Performance Indicators.
