About This Project
Horticon Ltd were appointed to carry out landscaping and engineering works at Rhyddings Park. The project consisted of the construction of a stone amphitheatre events area, improvements to the parterre garden and resurfacing to the area around the relocated ‘Market Cross.’ Works comprised the construction of retaining wall features to the entrances and amphitheatre, associated clay drainage channels, installation of new sandstone setts and flags, relaying old setts and existing stone edgings and re-surfacing works including bitmac surfacing, netpave and resin bonded surfacing. Our soft landscaping works included selective shrub clearance and new planting within the heritage setting.
