About This Project
Alder Hey Hospital were donated a 2022 Chelsea Flower Show Garden. The garden was designed by brothers Hugh and Howard Miller, and fully funded by Alder Hey’s sponsors, Project Giving Back. The Alder Hey Urban Foraging Station is a woven landscape; it is about weaving together the young and old, green and urban, play and learning and Alder Hey Children's Hospital with its community.

We were engaged to relocate the Trees, shrubs and concrete ‘Picnic Blanket’ from the Chelsea Flower Show to it’s new home between the Institute and Sunflower Buildings. Works also included the construction of a new footpath, patio area, relocation and installation of new lighting bollards and installation of benches.

Works were time critical to ensure the hard landscaping elements were completed in time for the arrival of the trees and shrubs from London.
