About This Project
Phase II of this project to construct a new landscaped park next to Alder Hey Hospital, included the construction of a floodlit MUGA and supply and installation of a green gym which we installed into a rubber mulch surface. A canopy was also installed to provide a chill out area.

A HAGS MUGA with Football and Basketball goal ends was installed with a tarmac surface. An ACO drain was installed that drains to an attenuation tank under the adjacent car park. Floodlighting allows the MUGA to be used until 10pm year round and street furniture provides rest areas.

The gym area includes:

• A multi-fitness station with several exercise functions

• A Lat Pull and Chest Press Combo outdoor workout station

• A two-person station with both a seated or standing platform allowing for a 90 degree twisting action for building core strength

• A pull up area, which has both a lower and higher bar

• A Trinity Cycle 3 in 1 recumbent bike
