About This Project
This project was undertaken to upgrade the existing footpath from Blantyre Street to Barton Road in Worsley to a new flexible paving cycleway with new feature gateways and signage. Our works comprised of:

• Removal of existing chicane access barriers and installation of gateway features

• The construction of a ‘Tiger’ Crossing

• The installation of a 3m wide path (50/50 mix recycled tyre/aggregate porous surface laid on 150mm MOT base)

• Installation of a new fence

• Installation of street furniture including litter bins and signage

• Stump grinding

• Replacement of a footbridge over the stream
