Client: Liverpool City Council
Value: £35,500
A public realm improvement project to provide a suitable setting in the south east corner of the existing gardens in the Liverpool Parish Church, Our Lady and St Nicholas in Liverpool. This included the installation a bronze sculpture memorial to the MV Derbyshire which sank off the coast of Japan on 9th September 1980. We also installed a bespoke granite bench, shaped to represent the bow of a ship. New planting further enhances the environment and related public realm.
There was an official opening for the MV Derbyshire Memorial Garden on Saturday 15th September, when the garden was officially opened by former MP, John Prescott.
