About This Project

A Heritage Lottery funded project at Hednesford Park to construct and improve new and existing hard surfaced pathways, to maintain access roads and car parking areas and to install street furniture and soft landscaping.

The existing entrance into the car park was replaced with a bell mouth entrance to accommodate 2 way traffic. Whilst undertaking works on the highway the working area was signed in accordance with Chapter 8 and safe pedestrian access was created. The existing gravel car park was re-graded and resurfaced with vehicle depth highways specification tarmacadam. A car park extension was also constructed and footpaths throughout the park were widened and resurfaced.

Drainage and ducting (for the installation and connection of lighting columns & hook up points for electric vehicles) was laid throughout the park. Works also included installing gates, bollards and street furniture and line marking.

Upon successful completion of the hard landscaping project we were awarded the fencing project to install boundary fencing, ball stop fencing, security fencing with pedestrian gates, vehicle gates and associated gate piers.
