About This Project
This Project saw the resurfacing of Commonhall Street in Chester City Centre. Works comprised the removal of existing bitmac and concrete surfacing and the taking up and relaying of granite kerbs and yorkstone paving. The granite kerbs and yorkstone paving were supplemented with new items sourced to match the originals. Minor drainage improvements were carried out together with the replacement of existing bollards and small areas of bitmac surfacing.
Careful traffic/pedestrian management ensured the street remained open for access for the duration of the works.
